Creation of a reference document for the courts of laws

You may have noticed that when we talk about a court of law, we can put 3 different points:

The court of law governing the terms is in location X

The court of law governing the terms is in a jurisdiction that is friendlier to user privacy protection.

The court of law governing the terms is in a jurisdiction that is less friendly to user privacy protection.

For example, if the court is in the USA, some note it as “The court of law governing the terms is in location X” and others "The court of law governing the terms is in a jurisdiction that is less friendly to user privacy protection. Indeed, two services that have the same court of law do not have the same ratings.

Therefore, we could create a reference document that evolves with time to define according to each country (or department / state if necessary) which point to apply.

What do you think about it?

This is a great idea!
It’ll make reviewers and curators task less ambiguous regarding these cases.

It shouldn’t be an arbitrary list though: for instance, sometimes a specific quote shows an advantage or disadvantage of the location governing the terms, and thus guides the reviewer in linking to one case or another.

I’ll start working on that and then publish a post that can be modified by any user of the forum to correct and complete it.
Once it’s enough filled, it could be published at Confluence!
