Probably due to a bug, some cases have appeared on Phoenix which seem to have been created without discussion or curator approval.
Here’s the list:
- Case 512: biometric data is collected - duplicate of Case 397: Your biometric data is collected
- Case 511: the products can be used by parents or guardians - duplicate of Case 486: Minors must have the authorization of their legal guardians to use the service
- Case 510: the products can be used by teachers - not clear what teachers is this about
- Case 514: sensitive personal information is collected - wrong topic, incomplete description, and the classification bad should be discussed with users
- Case 513: behavioral data is collected - wrong topic, incomplete description, and unclear definition of behavioral data
- Case 509: users can contact the (edtech) vendor about any privacy policy questions, complaints, and material changes as indicated in the policies - service specific
- Case 508: users are notified of any material changes - duplicate of Case 329: You should revisit the terms periodically, although in case of material changes, the service will notify
- Case 507: a changelog or past policy versions are available for review - duplicate of Case 197: Archives of their agreements are provided so that changes can be viewed over time
- Case 506: the policy version has a clear date - duplicate of https://edit.tosdr.org/cases/331
I’m deleting them in a few days, unless someone expresses their disapproval in this thread
