Rewording is due to the following Topic: Is This Point Case 182 or Case 390 (i.e. Feedback Attribution)?

I get an email when a new topic is created so they might have gotten one and that might be what they mean.

Probably that he (and others, like myself) are getting updated on this thread despite having interacted with it. A misclick perhaps?

To my knowledge I’ve never had anything to do with this issue and I’ve gotten about 6 emails about it over the last week. It sure feels like there’s a bug.

I believe @Dr_Jeff recently changed some settings and might have acciently changed some notification settings, hopefully they can solve this issue.

Sorry folks, I did change some settings while maintaining this site. I’ll revert them back to the old value.

This was my mistake, sorry for the inconvenience.

Update

I’ve reverted the settings. Still, I suggest you checked your profile preferences about email digests and such in case something didn’t change.

Given the lack of opposition to these changes, and the positive votes, I’m rewording this Case.
